Pet Friendly

Dogs are welcome in our pet friendly units.

Castle Mountain Central Reservation knows how important your pets are to your family. That’s why we have specially-designated Dog Friendly units at several of our properties.

Please let us know you intend to bring your dog when you call our Central Reservation team.  We will ensure you are booked into a Dog Friendly unit.

We simply ask that you include your dog when enjoying your stay so it does not disturb other guests and to remember that pets are not permitted in units not selected as Dog Friendly.  To ensure a positive experience for you, your dog, and our other guests, please keep your dog on a leash at all times.

There is a $25.00 + GST per pet per night. (or $100.00 per week)  Additional charges may apply for extra cleaning as a result of accidents, damages to property (replacement or repair costs or noise complaints (including reimbursement required as a result of inconveniencing other guests.) If dogs are left unattended in units (in a kennel or tied), Castle Mountain Central Reservation will not be able to provide scheduled housekeeping services.

Pets are not permitted in Non-pet friendly unit. If a non-registered pet is found in a guest room, a $200 fee will be applied.

1. DOG QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome quiet, non-aggressive dogs that are housebroken, and well behaved as not to disturb other guests. All dog guests must be completely free of fleas and ticks, be clean, well groomed and up to date on shots and vaccinations

2. DOG RULES IN THE ROOM
All dogs must sleep in their crates, carriers, or a pet bed. Dogs are not allowed on the carpet, beds or furniture. Under no circumstances may a guest pet be bathed in the guest room bathrooms.

3. NEVER LEAVE PET UNATTENDED IN THE UNIT
Dogs are not to be left unattended in a guest unit at any time unless kept in a travel carrier or kennel. For your pet’s safety and the safety of our staff, the staff is not permitted to enter a room when the dog is not caged unless the owner is present.

4. DOG RULES OUTSIDE THE UNIT/CABIN
Dogs must always be on a leash when outside the unit and on the premises of the resort. For health and safety reasons, dogs are not permitted in common areas such as the food service areas, lounges or pubs.

5. PROPERTY GROUNDS / DOG CLEANUP
Castle Mountain Resort is for the enjoyment of all of our guests, and we therefore request that, when possible, dogs be walked off property for the purpose of relieving themselves. Guests accompanied by dogs are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs; a trash can for waste disposal is located at designated areas. Please use the plastic bags provided in each unit (never use the unit’s towels or linen).

6. DOG DAMAGE
Owners are responsible for all damage caused to the unit and premises by their dog. Castle Mountain Central Reservation reserves the right to remove any pet for improper behavior, including, but not limited to, excessive barking, biting, evidence of disease, or urination or defecation in public areas. Quiet time for all guests including dogs is from 10pm to 8am.  The unit of dog guests is inspected after check out, with damages assessed and charged accordingly. Excessive damage may include charges for professional cleaning, rug replacement, and lost revenue charges while the room is out of service due to cleaning and repairs.
